Looking for: experienced PHP/Symfony developer to create our world-saving crowdfunding platform in a small innovative startup! Active in Germany and the Netherlands but has the ambition and the plans to expand throughout the whole of Europe.
A young and motivated team that established a new way of financing cool sustainable projects and thereby creating positive change. You will get a lot of responsibility and opportunities to influence the decision making process and roadmap.
Smart guys in our development team built our system from scratch and they are eager to share all their insights. It is a custom built crowdfunding application, integrated with several advanced off-the-shelve fin-tech solutions. We are reforming the current financial industry by creating a disruptive alternative to conventional bank loans, enabling more innovative dreams to be turnes into reality. The current system works ok, but we want to professionalise our platform.
To strengthen the team we are looking for a developer as part of the scrum team.
What will you be doing? You will be helping to build a modern REST web service in Symfony 3 and PHP 7. You will be integrating external payment and lending services into the the application. You will be learning from a team of specialists. Together with the team you will be developing a safe, stable and fast working application. You are excited to be contributing to a meaningful and innovative crowdfunding platform. The satisfaction of your work is not only based on beautiful code, but also to provide useful software to the end user. You will also be participating in related open source projects.
What skills do you bring? You can produce object orientated code on a high level. You write and document your code carefully. You value separation of concerns, which is evident throughout your code. You have a high regard for testing and look upon continuous integration as a way to guarantee quality and stability. You prefer composition to inheritance. You associate containers with dependency injections. You are proud to be part of the open source community.

- You are experienced with Symfony, Doctrine and PHPUnit.
- To be part of team is a way to gain and share knowledge.
